Dr. Miles grew up in Toronto, Canada and worked for many years at Woodbine Racetrack. She earned her Biology degree from Dalhousie University in 2014 before moving to Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr. Miles graduated with distinction from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and received an additional certificate in Veterinary Medical Education. After graduation, Dr. Miles completed a rotating internship here at Ocala Equine Hospital and is now part of our ambulatory team. Her professional interests include sports medicine, lameness, and upper airway disease.
Dr. Miles’s personal interests outside of veterinary medicine includes riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, traveling and spending time with her family and her one-eyed cat. (Source)
