Raised in rural Boone County and graduating from Purdue University in 2019, Dr. Sarah Carl is a hometown veterinarian. Growing up, Dr. Sarah’s family farmed so she got to experience the ups and downs of raising horses, cattle, llamas, goats, and sheep, alongside cats and dogs. Her interest in science and passion for animals guided her towards practicing veterinary medicine and the joys of no two days ever being the same.
You’ll see Dr. Sarah around the clinic in surgery, seeing small animals and also on the farm to take care of the larger animals. She has also added equine services to the clinic. When she’s not busy here, she is a Boone County 4-H Volunteer and helps on her family farm.
Dr. Sarah and her husband Josh have settled in rural Boone County and we are proud to have her part of the Thorntown Veterinary Clinic family. (Source)
