Sarah Witt

Sarah was born and raised in Redmond, Washington. She earned her B.S. in biochemistry from Calvin College (now University) in Michigan. Following graduation, she moved across the pond to attend veterinary school at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland. Sarah has always loved horses and while at vet school she has volunteered with the Edinburgh University Exmoor Pony Trekking Section where she helps manage a herd of Exmoor ponies and lead public treks to raise breed awareness. She has fallen in love with the UK native ponies and hopes to have her own Highland Pony someday. Her main interest is in Internal Medicine and she can’t wait to join the MPEH team and start serving the horses of Washington and Idaho. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and going for long trail rides. (Source)
