The son of Barbe Smith, Scooter was a member of the 2010 United States Saddle Seat World Cup Team and studied Equestrian Science at William Woods University. Scooter gained experience at several notable training barns, including DeLovely Farm, Callaway Hills Stable, Carriage Lane Farm, Wrapped In Rainbows Farm and of course, Cascade Stables. Scooter officially joined Cascade as an assistant trainer in 2012 and earned his USEF judge’s certification in 2014. He is also a member of the United Professional Horseman’s Association. (Source)
