Scott R. Sears, DVM

A true native of northeast Connecticut, Dr. Sears grew up in Brooklyn, CT. After an enlistment in the army, he attended the University of Connecticut and the University of Missouri at Rolla. In 1999, Dr. Sears graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Meidcine. He then worked at a mixed animal practice for one year in Central Missouri before returning to Connecticut and starting at Connecticut Equine Clinic. Throughout undergraduate and graduate studies and to this day, Dr. Sears has had a passion for farrier science and performs therapeutic shoeing for the practice.

Dr. Sears’ professional interests include primary care, sport horse medicine, therapeutic farrier work and dentistry. Outside of work interests are family, various equine activities, fishing and wood working. (Source)
