Dr. Meyer is our home town favorite who grew up in Gilbert, AZ. He is passionate about equine sports medicine and his family. He graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences with a bacholers degree in microbiology and his masters degree in animal anatomy and neurobiology with his doctorate in veterinary medicine. He did his externships in sports medicine and surgery in Southern Australia. His professional interests include ophthalmology, surgery and anesthesia. Dr Scott has had the opportunity to work on some elite race horses such as American Pharoah. In his free time he enjoys fly fishing, outdoors, golf and spending time with his growing family. (Source)
