Shauna (Prasse) Riggs, DVM graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech and Virginia/Maryland School of Veterinary Medicine. After literally growing up in a veterinary practice, she brings a wealth of experience and compassion as well as knowledge to the high-tech Paradocs Animal Hospital. Dr. Riggs is married to Joshua Riggs and resides in Locust Grove with their dog, “Gizmo”. An accomplished horsewoman, Dr. Riggs has won numerous awards for showing horses in nearly every discipline. Her special interests include Veterinary Medicine, Surgery, Nutrition, and Dentistry for small animals and equine. (Source)
