Dr. Shawn Devaney was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He attended UNC-Charlotte and earned his Bachelors of Science majoring in biology with a minor in kinesiology. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia- Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech.
