Shawn Mattson, DVM DVSc BSc DACVS,

Dr. Mattson graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Following an internship at Young Crawford Veterinary Clinic and a 3 year residency in large animal surgery at the Ontario Veterinary College, he completed a Doctor of Veterinary Science degree and attained board certification with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Mattson was then hired as an assistant professor in Large Animal Surgery until coming to Moore Equine in 2005. Dr. Mattson became a partner of Moore Equine in 2011. Dr. Mattson attained board certification with the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2018. (Source)
