Shelby Fenstermacher

I am the founder and operator of Pulse Equus Therapeutics. I graduated from Morrisville State College (SUNY Morrisville) with a BST in Equine Science and a concentration in Rehabilitation and Therapies in 2021. During my time at SUNY Morrisville I spent extended time in the equine reproduction division where I gained knowledge and experience in flushing/breeding mares, cleaning/collecting stallions, and delivering/examining foals. After my time in the rehabilitation facility I spent time interning with Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue in Mount Airy, MD where I learned about the rescue side of rehabilitation as well as experienced different medical ailments such as Chronic Progressive Lymphedema, Canker, Cancers, and trauma related neurological deficits. I then moved to Middle TN in September of 2021 where I was employed as a rehabilitation technician and worked alongside veterinarians and owners to help horses of various breeds and ages whether it be age related issues, surgical recovery, or traumatic injury. My passion for helping animals comes from personal experiences in rehabilitating my Arabian gelding from a variety of ailments and injuries. I obtained certifications in Equi-tape, Red Light Therapy, Equine Massage, and Magnawave: (Exotic, Equine, Small Animals, Livestock). This has allowed me to extend my expertise on a mobile level for both small and large animals.
