Shelley Walker

Hello, my name is Shelley Walker, owner of Next Step Trimming. I have a Agricultural Science degree from Cornell University and a MS in Science Education from St. John Fisher College. I have been working with horses as an equine hoof care specialist for many years. My goals are to develop and maintain healthy, sound hooves. I am patient and have developed unique ways to help horses with variety of conditions. I take a multidimensional approach to improving hoof health. This includes investing time in studying a variety of trimming methodologies, whole horse anatomy, factors that affect posture, lameness, biomechanics of movement, equine nutrition, dentistry, management, footing, and talking to veterinarians and other equine bodyworkers.
