SK Equine Academy

S.K. Equine Academy is a full horsemanship program in Norco, CA. Students learn not just how to ride but all aspects of horse care. What is horsemanship? Horsemanship is simply a broad term used to describe the process of training, riding and caring for horses. Why is it important? There is so much more to our sport than just climbing up into a saddle and riding! In this sport we partner with 1,000+ lb animals, and with that in mind it only makes sense that we learn as much as we can about our partners. Striving to learn as much as you can about every aspect of horse care makes you an overall better horseman or woman. My goal as your instructor is to prepare you for a potentially life long love affair with these beautiful animals. Whether your goal is to simply have a companion horse in your yard to love and spoil, or train to be an Olympic hopeful, or something in between. The best way to do this is to learn all aspects of horsemanship, not just simply how to ride, especially since our barn is geared more for those who are newer to the horse world.
