Sommers Gate Farms

We are so blessed and fortunate to own our farms. Even though both properties were in dire need of some serious TLC when we bought them, we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to find them. It took us several years of cleaning up, tearing down, updating and rebuilding, which included all the scrapes, scratches, bruises, bumps, sore backs and, of course, the financial surprises you can’t seem to avoid, to get them up to “presentable.” Once we finally got there, we decided the farms were just too wonderful not to share.

So we gave it a lot of thought and decided to open our gates and extend our friendship and the hospitality of our beautiful piece of country living to folks traveling through. We also thought it might be fun and rewarding to add an occasional horse clinic to our agenda during the summer months. Sommers Gate Farms was born. (Source)
