Do you know that slightly awkward, horse-crazy kid that is in every class in every school across the country? Well that would be me! I grew up riding and competing in the Wisconsin Little Britches and High School rodeos. To this day I am horse crazy! How lucky am I to have a job that allows me to work with not only a wide variety of horses, but goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, cattle and chickens to keep things spiced up?!

Upon graduating high school, I attended UW-River Falls where I majored in Animal Science and competed for the collegiate rodeo team. During this time, I worked at veterinary clinics, horse boarding facilities and trained horses. After my time at River Falls I relocated to attend the UW Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, where I continued to train horses and barrel race in my spare time. (Source)
