Dr. Stephanie Bell is a native of North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science from UNC at Chapel Hill in 2001, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 2006. She completed her internship at the University of Tennessee from 2009-10 and residency in Comparative Ophthalmology at the University of California-Davis from 2010-2013.
Equine ophthalmology is Dr. Bell’s passion. Her clinical interests include immune-mediated ocular disease, corneal disease, microsurgery (corneal and cataract surgery), blepharoplasty and other adnexal surgery, and ocular manifestations of systemic disease. Her primary research as a resident focused on novel therapeutics for Equine Recurrent Uveitis (ERU). (Source)
