Stephanie Darrow, DVM

Dr. Stephanie Darrow began practicing at Southern Kern Veterinary Clinic, Inc. in 2009. She graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Prior to moving to the Antelope Valley, she was a large animal veterinarian in northern California, where she treated horses, goats, sheep, as well as llamas and alpacas. Dr. Darrow recently completed her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture. She decided to pursue Eastern Medicine in order to provide her patients with more treatment options, especially those with chronic pain issues. In addition, she practices veterinary herbal medicine and pet nutritional therapy. In her free time, she rides horses competitively, showing Hunter/Jumpers, but also enjoys a long trail ride with friends. Dr. Darrow owns four horses: Dancer (paint horse), Flash (quarter horse), Star (Percheron/thoroughbred cross), and Tango (mule). She also has four dogs: Rocky (black Lab), Sadie (German Shepherd), Tucker (Cattle dog) and Fozzie (Poodle mix), as well as three cats (Bobby, Torie, and Boots), that keep her on her toes. (Source)
