Dr. Simpkins was born and raised in Alabama. He has a BS in Animal Science and graduated veterinary school from Auburn University in 2000. He has an MS in Growth Physiology. He began working at Mountain Empire Large Animal Hospital in June 2000. His interests include equine medicine, surgery, dentistry, and reproduction.
