Stuart E. Brown, II, DVM

Dr. Brown came to Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in 1991 and his practice specializes in the area of equine reproduction within the Thoroughbred industry in Central Kentucky. He primarily focuses in the areas of broodmare reproductive evaluations, purchase evaluations including radiographic and endoscopic examinations for horse sales at public auction, routine herd health preventative medicine, routine primary care, and federally required testing for the import and export of horses internationally. He frequently consults on cases on both the national and international level and has the opportunity to speak regularly at various veterinary and horsemen conferences. In 2014 he was named 2014 Veterinarian of the Year by the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association. (Source)
