She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before graduating from veterinary school in 2020 at the University of Tennessee. Summer was a member of the 2020-2021 FEA intern class and stayed on as Dr. Mitchell’s sports medicine Fellow the following year.
She is excited to return to the Northeast full-time as an associate and the token southerner. Her professional interests include lameness, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. (Source)
