Suzon Schaal, DVM

Dr. Schaal grew up outside of Millarville, AB on her family farm and has been involved with horses since her youth. She graduated from WCVM in 2004, and then completed an internship at Arizona Equine Medical and Surgical Center before returning to practice at Okotoks Animal Clinic in Alberta. Suzon is a well known and respected competitor in the discipline of Working Cow Horse. In recent years, Suzon and her mount Ginna (Genuine Brown Gal) have won 5 World Championships and multiple Calgary Stampede titles in the Non- Pro division, among other successes. Suzon continues to compete at the top level of her sport while maintaining the busy lifestyle of an equine veterinarian.
