Sydney Weil, BVetMed

Dr. Sydney Weil was born and raised in Northern California, where she started riding from a young age and competed in dressage as a teenager. Though she’s always loved horses, she was sure she wanted to be a zoo vet and spent many years working with wildlife. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Amherst College, where she was also captain of the IHSA team. She then went on to vet school at the Royal Veterinary College in London, where she finally realized she wanted to be an equine vet! In order to expand her skills, Dr. Weil decided to pursue an internship with BW Furlong & Associates. Her professional interests include internal and emergency medicine as well as ambulatory/preventative care. (Source)
