T.R. Potts

T.R. Potts is the owner and manager of Potts Performance Horses LLC. He serves as the Primary Trainer and supervises all equine activities. Originally from Boone, Iowa, T.R. was raised on his family’s horse farm and learned about horses from his father, Verlin Potts (AQHA Judge), grandfather, John Munson and close family friend Jim Dudley (AQHA, NSBA Judge).T.R. attended Iowa State University, graduating in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. He apprenticed with well-respected trainers, Clint Haverty from Texas and J.R. Reichert from Iowa, excelling in Western Pleasure and Reining. In March of 2000, T.R. started Potts Performance Horse LLC in East Windsor, CT. T.R.’s recent accomplishments. (Source)
