Tara Suplizio, DVM

Dr. Suplizio is a 2001 Colorado State University Veterinary school graduate. She worked as a staff veterinarian in a busy small-animal practice in Boston, Massachusetts, before moving back to Grand Junction, Colorado, where she and Dr. Tom bought Animal Medical Clinic. She received her certification in medical acupuncture for veterinarians in 2011, and practices acupuncture on both large and small animals. Her certification in cold-laser therapy and veterinary orthopedic manipulation was achieved in 2012. Dr. Suplizio works part-time for Banfield, as she is a full-time mom to three active boys, two dogs, three cats, a couple of goats, a flock of chickens, a rat, and a hamster. When not at work, she and Dr. Tom enjoy mountain biking, rafting, skiing, trail running, and spectating their boys sporting events. (Source)
