Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center

Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded in 2007 and situated at Shepard Stable in Brookston, Indiana. TTRC provides equine-assisted programs for persons with disabilities, those who have been victims of violence or abuse, and youth learning life skills. The center is a member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.), providing industry standards, certifications and education in equine services. Our PATH Intl. certified instructors lead classes throughout the week in the spring, summer and fall seasons. Administrative and other duties are completed by dedicated volunteers and oversight of the organization is through a Board of Directors. Participants of our programs see improved concentration, learn patience, develop physical and social skills, and learn to trust themselves and others. (Source)
