Thomas J. Barclay, DVM

Dr. TJ Barclay grew up near Vega, Texas, where his family has lived for over 100 years. He was accepted into the DVM program at Texas A&M University, and graduated with honors in 2005. After graduation, Dr. Barclay completed a one-year internship at the famous Four Sixes Ranch in Guthrie, Texas. There, he gained valuable experience in all areas of equine practice, including medicine, surgery, lameness, and especially reproduction and neonatology. Following his internship, Dr. Barclay moved back to the Panhandle and spent four years at a mixed-animal clinic in Hereford. In June of 2010, he started Barclay Veterinary Services, a mobile equine practice. Dr. Barclay has been an associate of Mobile Veterinary Practice since 2012, he currently resides just outside of Vega with his lovely wife, Marin and their two children, Gavin and Taryn. (Source)
