Dr. Wisner received his undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Delaware and went on to graduate from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. During his time at New Bolton Center he spent extra time studying sports medicine. After vet school he came to work for his father, Dr. Alan Wisner, VMD at Green Glen Equine Hospital. He took over the practice in 2002. He has developed a strong interest in sport horse medicine and surgery as well as lameness and acupuncture. (Source)
