Warren Franklin, DVM

Dr. Franklin grew up in eastern New Mexico. He graduated from House High school and then attended New Mexico State University where he graduated in 1983 with a BS in Animal Science. He then went on to Colorado State University where he gradated with his DVM in 1987. He came to Ruidoso and worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Green Tree Hospital expanding his veterinary knowledge from horses to all species. In 1990, Dr. Franklin opened Franklin Veterinary Clinic and has served Lincoln County and surrounding areas for over 25 years. Dr. Franklin has a special interest in Equine reproduction. He also really enjoys food animal and small animal medicine. In his scarce free time he enjoys raising race horses, livestock, playing sports, and spending time with his kids; Dusti, Brand, and Sky.
