The Western Pennsylvania Quarter Horse Association is a large, highly successful regional organization that promotes the values of owning and exhibiting Quarter Horses. The object of WPQHA is to promote in all ways the interests of Pennsylvania Quarter Horse owners, to increase the number of Pennsylvania breeders and owners of quarter horses registered by the American Quarter Horse Association and to help advance Pennsylvania to the position of one of the leading quarter horse states This is accomplished through sponsoring AQHA approved Quarter Horse shows, Open Shows, Clinics, Youth Team affiliations, Futurities, and other equine repeated events in the area.
