Dr. Zach was born and raised in Kansas. He attended Kansas State University for undergrad where he obtained his Bachelors in Animal Science and Industries, Bachelors in Spanish and an Equine Science Minor. He attended Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2013. During veterinary school he was Class President all four years, a College Ambassador and remained active in clubs and organizations. After graduation he moved to Nashville, TN to complete an intensive one-year equine specific internship at Tennessee Equine Hospital. After the internship he was hired on as an associate to help start a satellite practice in Memphis, TN. (Source)

I can not believe there have Been NO recommendations!!! This is a great vet that really cares about your horse(s)! He has is own and takes care of yours like they are his own. He really cares and only wants to make your best 4 legged friend healthy and happy. He has been with us even when the last days of our wonderful girls came to an end. He was compassionate about both of them (he helped us get both of our ladies to 30 years old) and broke his heart to have to say goodbye to them. 1 year later we decided on Mini-horses and now God love him, he and Madison are both back at our barn taking care of them. Do yourself a favor and give Zach Bruggen a chance to show you how your best horse friend should be taken care of!!

I agree with the other post. I can’t believe there’s on been 1 recommendation. Dr.Zach is the most compassionate, caring and knowledgeable Dr. I’ve ever encountered. He has stopped my 24 yr old thoroughbred mare from having constantly bouts of colic. He’s helped my 18 yr old paint mare get through the extreme hot humid summers. She suffers with breathing. He works with my 25 yr old TW gelding who suffers from IBS. Dr.Zach has been able to stop his diarrhea and put weight on him. Without Dr. Zach I would not have my TW.
He explains the treatments thoroughly where I can understand and puts my mind at ease. He and Madison treat my horses like they are the most important horses around while treating them! To me they are.
I don’t want to think what life with my horses would be like without Dr. Zach.
When In need for a horse vet please give Dr. Zach Bruggen a call. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!
