I’m giving four stars only because the product is not very appealing to my horse, and we had to get a bit creative (and “gamify” his meals) to encourage him to eat his ration. Otherwise, we’ve been very pleased with the results.

I’ve had my gelding for 2 years now. I struggled to maintain his proper muscle, coat health, recovery, and weight. I bought all the supplements you can imagine that were recommended to me, but still was stumped.
The manager of the barn I board at, aka our “barn fairy” 🧚 (we love her), recommended MadBarn to me. I was skeptical at first.
I went through the process and was worried about my results without a hay analysis. MadBarn employee, Haley, was my consultant. I told her my struggles, budget, and limitation.
Haley sent me a detailed email within 48 hours. It included charts, suggestions, products, and science to back everything up. She gave me a detailed summary of every product I should drop, add, or keep and why. The charts made it very easy to follow along. They did suggest me a couple of their products, but by no means just pushed their own brand. They care about your horses health, not just the sales they make, which speaks wonders for their brand.
I’m a person who thinks the “why” is very important and Haley eased those thoughts.
My products arrived quickly with no trouble and were extremely affordable compared to all these other performance products on the market.
Within only 22 days (a REMARKABLE amount of time) my horse gained muscle, maintained a good weight, improved with injury and workout recovery, and got a beautiful gleaming coat. No other management changed besides what MadBarn suggested.
I have never experienced such quick and impactful results in such a short amount of time. I absolutely love Madbarn and have been telling everyone about them.

I bought a load of hay that turned out to have a noticeable amount of dirt in it. I fed some at each feeding and noticed the dirt on the ground and in the hay. With my concern and advice from Dr Kellon I quit feeding it and used the recommended psyllium protocol to clear it out of his digestive system. Dr Kellon gave me directions to wet it and then mix with his mash am & pm for 5 days and he ate it very well. I would like to thank the entire MadBarn team, especially Erin. After an order, the delivery was made to the wrong address. I immediately contacted them and received a quick response indicating that they were checking to ensure my order would be delivered to my address. We had an older horse that didn’t winter well, and we were struggling to keep weight on her. After trying multiple options I reached out to the staff at Mad Barn and they suggested their W-3 oil. It is excellent! Her weight is back to normal. We have begun giving it to some of our other horses to meet their needs too, and it keeps us from having to purchase multiple other supplements from different suppliers that were not as beneficial.

I absolutely love Mad Barn Products. My mare is now 20 years old and it is now more than ever important to maintain her health to ensure an amazing quality of life. I have been using Mad Barn products to do this. I have seen excellent results and have recently added the Optimum Digestive Health + to her daily feed routine to ensure proper gut health. The most important part is that she enjoys these supplements and has no problem eating them in her feed.

I purchased Visceral+ and the w-3 oil specifically for my mare with recurring ulcers. So far, so good! Her mood seems to be calming, and she eats everything right up!

My 23 year old thouroughbred mare has been on the Omneity pellets for almost a year now. I’ve paired the pellets up with a complete forage diet and I am so impressed with all of the changes I have seen within this time. When I first purchased her she had terrible feet, very itchy and irritated skin and was also a non-sweater. Within the first 6 months my farrier pointed out not only how much growth she had but how strong her feet had become. I also noticed very early on that her coat looked gorgeous and she was no longer rubbing and losing hair.

The list could go on and on but honestly the product speaks for itself. As for the customer service, they are phenomenal. Every single time I have had a question or concern someone has personally reached out and answered all of my questions. If I could give this review 10 stars I would!

I’ve been using Mad Barn now for multiple years with my horses even while their life and diet has changed. My palomino was diagnosed PPID and I can still use almost all the supplements we used to before her diagnosis. Now with my younger gelding we have also been able to tailor it to his needs from ulcer issues to developing muscles more.

I have been supplementing my young QH with Omneity since we bought her this spring. The vet reassured me I’m doing the right thing as she’s not getting all the nutrients she needs from hay alone. She didn’t get out in the pasture much this summer. Her coat is soft and shiny. Her hoofs are strong and healthy. Her eyes are bright. I’m particularly impressed that the formulas were developed by scientists and they continue to do research. Mad Barn will be my go-to if I need further nutritional support for my equine friend.

After years of bouncing around between different supplements and brands, and with one of my horses reaching his late 20’s, I finally decided to consult a nutritionist and discovered that Mad Barn has a FABULOUS team of nutritionists, who truly go above and beyond. Multiple emails and two phone calls occurred between myself and two different experts at Mad Barn, before I’d even spent a penny with the company. Since I started my subscriptions for multiple products, I’ve reached back out a few times with questions and have gotten prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable responses. During my first phone consult, the nutritionist I spoke with told me that I was already doing a great job with my boys, and that they were so lucky to have me. I have to tell you that I actually teared up, because it meant so much to hear that.
Every email and crazy request I make, is met with quick, professional, and genuine care. The products are top notch, and the results are unquestionable. Visceral+ has helped the guts of both of my geldings, one of who has had raging Fecal Water Syndrome for years. His hiney has been dry for a couple weeks now, the longest it’s ever been, in four years of owning him. I can’t say enough good things about this company.

We started out trying Omneity because we couldn’t feed the full ration of grain needed for vitamins. Great value, had no trouble feeding. We were very happy with the results, her feet were growing a much better hoof wall, her coat bloomed! When we went into summer and more riding we started 3 Amigos to help with muscle building. Worked wonders! She was fit and muscled well. Fall came and we switched to an all forage diet slowly because she was acting a little like she had [redacted]. She improved but still wasn’t gobbling down her dinner. We added Visceral and within 2 servings she was much happier and eating all her meals! So far every product we have tried has stayed on auto ship! Couldn’t be happier. Also the customer service is amazing which just makes it even better.

I started my horses on Milk Thistle seed a few years ago just as a liver tonic. What I noticed after a few weeks was a marked improvement in the horse with stringhalt. She still has stringhalt, but her left hind (the stringhalt is more pronounced in the left leg) doesn't go to the roof when I'm picking out her feet, she releases both hind legs to extend and lower the hoof more quickly and smoothly, and I've noticed a lot less uncomfortable shifting and flexing of her hind legs when she's out and about. When I called Mad Barn to ask if others had noticed this in stringhalt horses, the rep said no but recent research indicates Milk Thistle seed can help muscle function. I'm keeping my herd on the Milk Thistle. I tried buying whole seeds from an herb supplier and grinding them myself to save some money, but they were having supply chain issues. When my horses had been off Milk Thistle for about a month I noticed the stringhalt getting worse with my mare. I'm sticking with Mad Barn from now on! A few weeks back on it and she is – again – noticeably more comfortable.

I started my 25yo Quarter Horse on the w-3 oil in April and we have seen great success in his overall health. He really struggled coming out of last winter and had lost a ton of weight, but we saw improvements very quickly with his overall health and weight gain. He since has been diagnosed with liver disease, so we added the milk thistle to his regimen as well as the MSM supplement for his joints and Three Amigos. He has been a different horse over the summer and I am hopeful we can help him through this coming winter much more successfully. I since started feeding the supplements to two more of our older horses and am looking forward to seeing the results. Definitely a game changer with our grandpa-herd.

The before photo was in September 2024 when I went to view her (she was 4) I ended up purchasing her despite her dull coat and cracked hooves. She arrived at the barn October 11, 2024 and I immediately put her on MadBarn Biotin. In the spring of this year I added Omenity pellets daily and shes glown up into a new horse. Using MadBarn products for over 3 years now have made all my horses happy and healthy. This guy (my new horse) has been on magnesium, MSM, omeity, and Vitamin E for 10 months and wow! These products have kept a balance between his shiny coat, his deit staying healthy and him getting the nutrients that he needs/deserves, he's built so much muscle and his relaxation.
