When I got Eddie, he was not in the greatest body condition and was not gaining super well even with large meals of hard feed and free choice hay. I gave it a couple of months (top photo) to see if he’d settle and then start gaining, but quickly decided he needed something extra.
Enter Mad Barn’s w-3 oil – the ONLY difference between the top and bottom pictures. In fact, the bottom photo (yes, it’s the same horse, the white patch is scarring from an allergic reaction to an antibiotic injection!) is ~4 months later, a month AFTER I’d been able to cut his hard feed by more than a quart a day.
His gut has stayed consistently happier (which is a BIG deal for a huge, sensitive OTTB!) and I truly believe that the w-3 oil and the Optimum Probiotic are the reason he has not dropped condition during any of the 3x he’s gone through treatment for EPM, which is notoriously hard on their gut health.
The results speak for themselves. My horse went from the stereotypical hard-keeper OTTB to being mistaken for a warmblood on less feed than before. We will never go without our Mad Barn products!
I have being using Mad Barn for 2 years now. I love the products that I have tried I have been using MagneChrome for my insulin resistant mare. I feel it is helping as she would have recurring founder prior to starting her on this product it seemed a constant battle to keep her sound before Magna Chrome. I like Omneity also, I like that it doesn’t have added sugars or grain products that my mare shouldn’t be consuming. I feel that her hoof quality has also improved.
Subscriptions for product and delivery to my door is a real bonus.
| I am an inexperienced horseman. I called Mad Barn for advice and purchased a big bag of Omniety premix. This has been a good product for my horses. It’s easy to feed, economical for a small herd, the bag weight is manageable, and it has stored well over the winter in the open barn. My horses eat it mixed with a little beet pulp and water and they look forward to seeing me come around the corner with their feed pans. They eat everything, no waste. My good horses are a wide range of age and experience. They are generally healthy but each have their own individual needs. They ALL look better after having just this little addition to their diet. Better weight retention through the winter for the old fella, better hooves on the high mileage mare, strong recovery for a hardworking mtn gelding, and too much spunk for the youngster! Thank y’all for helping me keep my lovely herd feeling good. |
We’ve been using Visceral+ for my daughter Sarah’s little grade mare Honey for almost 2 years. It was after Honey had showed some signs of [redacted], resulting in expensive omeprazole treatments. Going the preventative route, with Visceral+, we haven’t had any issues since (knock on wood 🤭). We also started Honey on the MSM for the joint support now as she continues to mature. We recently switched to ordering online, since local vendors were not consistently stocking it. Happy we made the change to online, save a little money as well, and they have great customer service with their full nutritional specialists and ordering support.

My metabolic horse has done great on MB Magnesium Oxide. When my boy came into my life he was overweight and unsound. His blood work showed elevated sugar levels over 300! Radiographs confirmed chronic laminitis. Your product was recommended by his original owner and Vet. Within 2 months of MB Mag Oxide along with a low sugar diet his levels dropped to 125 and he became sound. We are months into our maintenance lifestyle and his recent insulin levels were down to 25!
I now order this product in bulk for fear of running out as I believe the 2 scoops a day play a great roll in keeping his sugars low. Thank you Mad Barn for you great products!
My mare has sme syndrom so it was so hard to keep her in good shape. It was impossible for her to lose her extra weight. Someone told me that i should dry Magnechrome from Mad Barn so i was like, lets tey it and see. She is now in a reàlly good shape! She seems to feel so much better also. I recommend their product with no hesitation! Ive never seen my mare beeing so confortable in her body! Also, her customer service is amazing! I did a nutrition plan with their team and here again ,fast service, many good tips and nice people.

When I got my horse Raven I knew keeping him happy and healthy was a top priority for me. I started out using MadBarn Omneity Pellets about 4 years ago and have found this product to offer the most optimal vitamins and minerals to my horses in the most compact form. I always have compared ingredients and amounts and qualities of ingredients before I feed to my horses. I have stuck with MadBarn for a long time. My mare, Indie became sick with a neuromuscular muscle myopathy in the summer of 2024. She had large amount of hind end and top line muscle atrophy. At the time, we hadn’t gotten a diagnosis yet. Once getting an entire new care team for her finding and finding treatment plan, we had to change her diet and add in a lot of supplements. Indie was severely Vitamin E deficient on top of everything else that was happening inside of her body. Once we started her medication regimen, Indie became laminitic from one of the medications we used to treat her muscle disease. We are now using a lot of MadBarn supplements to get her on the right track. Indie is finally onto recovery and healing. I thank MadBarn and their pure and high quality supplements for helping her body to heal. The Amino Acids and Electrolytes have helped with muscle recovery. I have had my horse Poe since he was 3 months old he’s now a 4 year old. Ever since he was a little wee thing he has struggled with his feet being tender and falling apart he’s been on mad barn zinc and copper for a few months now and for the first time ever he can go up and down our roads with out taking a lame step my farrier is also super impressed with how his feet have grown . Also can’t forget that it has made all his skin issues go away . I can’t thank the team at Mad Barn enough !!

I found Mad Barns page while searching for supplements for our senior horse , Geronimo and our rescue donkey Benny. This winter was particularly rough and they both are looking thin. I consulted with a Mad Barn nutritionist for my 8 year old gypsy vanner gelding with PSSM 1 in an effort to keep my horse healthy and happy. They advised I add Omneity pellets and Acetyl to his diet. He is also exercised fairly regularly. Following a recent vet visit, I was advised my horse is in the best condition ever. His weight is optimal and he is showing great muscle structure. Thank you Mad Barn for your advice. In addition, Mad Barn has the best customer service. I can’t recommend enough.
Well into her twenties, Lola is healthier than ever. She has loads of energy and a healthy appetite. Using Madbarn supplements has helped her overall condition and hoof quality.
Lexia is extremely picky for her feed and I’m extremely surprised to se her eat her feed every day.
She have EMS so trying to find anything safe for her to eat is a challenge but with Mad Barn it’s really easier and the nutritionist are always available to answer any questions.
My 26 year old Quarter Horse gelding has been doing well on Mad Barn products for many years.
He has several issues that make his life difficult that Mad Barn products have helped with.
This horse has hind end hip arthritis since age 6, uveitis and Fecal Water Syndrome. The FWS showed up about age 19 or 20.
I love the anti-inflammatory properties of the W3 oil. Arthritis and Uveitis are both inflammation issues. He started Previcox daily on the lowest dose (1/4 tab) around age 17. I feel that having the prescription anti-inflammatory product combined with W3 oil was key for me being able to delay the need for higher doses of prescription anti-inflammatories.
Optimum Digestive Health was a big help with his FWS for about 2 or 3 years. When it was decided to up his prescription anti-inflammatory dose, we switched to Viseral to have both the benefits of the probiotic component and also protect his stomach against ulcers that can sadly be a side effect of prescription anti inflammatory medications.
I am grateful for the quality of the products Mad Barn produces. I have also found that their customer service is unbeatable! I have been taking advantage of the subscription services for all my Mad Barn supplement products for a few years. This means my horse never misses a dose and it gets delivered right to the boarding facility!
Any time I have questions, Mad Barn responds quickly and professionally.

Adding the AminoTrace+ has really balanced our horse’s diet. We’ve noticed an improvement in their hoof condition as well as in their energy levels.

| J’ai fait venir mon cheval mustang des USA en novembre 2022. Mon Willis avait été un cheval sauvage et je voulais être certaine qu’il n’ai pas de carence. J’ai fait beaucoup de recherches pour savoir quels étaient les meilleurs supplément et mes recherches se sont arrêté sur madbarn. J’ai essayé plusieurs produits de madbarn.ca et chaque produit essayé, c’est l’adopter 😉. J’utilise le Omneity premix (mon cheval adore le goût, il a toujours été en bonne santé depuis l’utilisation de ce supplément), le trois amigo (la senteur du 3 amigos est savoureuse, la senteur me fait pensera de la vanille! Jai le goût d’y goûter à chaque fois que j’ouvre le sac😂), la vitamine E (meilleurs rapport qualité/prix du marché selon mes recherches), l’huile W3 (j’adore la senteur de cette huile qui m’a fait penser au pop-corn 😁) , le MSM (il a amélioré le confort de mon cheval lors de ses entraînement), les électrolyte (mon cheval adore le goût ! Les électrolyte sont faciles à donner. J’en ai essayé plusieurs sortes et la seule que mon cheval a aimé c’est celle de madbarn). Bref , je n’utilise que madbarn pour mon cheval ! Je veux le meilleur et madbarn c’est le meilleur ! J’aimerais que mon poney de 14 mains soit en dressage cette été. Oui 14 mains, lorsque j’ai fait venir mon petit garçon des USA , je ne connaissais pas ça grandeur 😅. Malgré ça petite taille, c’est l’amour de ma vie qui mérite le meilleur ❤️ |

Carlos does very well on the Mad Barn supplements especially the Visceral and Probiotics !
My mare has never looked or felt better after being on W3 oil, vitamin e and magnesium. Her coat is shiny in all seasons and she is bright and energetic.
Reilly came to me with health issues.
His hooves had been neglected and he had a very hoarse dry cough
We got his hooves all trimmed up and out him on Omenity for all around vitamin care
The real game changer for his cough was when we started using Mad Barn Spirulina for his cough

I am a shelter Veterinarian at a high volume equine rescue in TN. I learned about MadBarn products during the American Association of Equine Practitioners conference, and had the opportunity to incorporate their Visceral Plus Supplement for several horses we received that were diverted out of the equine slaughter pipeline and arrived at our facility in really horrible condition. One group was from a reservation. Devastatingly, their mothers were all sent to slaughter, and the foals we were able to save ranged in age from 2 to 5 months- much too early to be weaned! They were terrified, dehydrated, and highly susceptible to disease. Without exception, every one of them fought through serious comorbidities. During that time, we implemented the Visceral+ to provide gastrointestinal and immune support. Although I don’t have a control group (because we gave it to all of them) I absolutely think it made a difference and helped them fight through. We only lost one out of ten, and they are now old enough and healthy enough that many of them have been adopted into loving forever homes! We also used the Visceral+ on an older gelding who came in to use super emaciated with bad diarrhea and horrible teeth. He was adopted locally (by my good friend) and has gained a TON of weight. I think we don’t understand how critical GI health is to immunity in horses, and I am so happy to have found this amazing supplement!
