Dr. Christina Cassano is a 2019 graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating vet school, she completed a one year rotating internship at New England Equine Medical and Surgical Center in Dover, NH. Dr. Cassano enjoyed learning feline medicine in vet school and decided to make a career change from equine medicine to feline medicine by joining the Just Cats team in February 2021.
She was raised in the Hudson Valley region of New York and began riding horses at a young age which, along with growing up in a house full of pets, inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Cassano is certified in large animal acupuncture and hopes to attain her small animal acupuncture certification in the near future.
In her spare time, you can find Dr. Cassano horseback riding, hiking, and exploring new places. She also enjoys spending time with her family as well as with her dog, Dahlia, and her cat, Hemingway. (Source)
