Claire Affleck Training

Claire Affleck began riding as a young child, competing at the international level as a junior rider. She has trained with many great horsemen such as George Morris, Michael Page, Aiden O’Connell, and Beezie Madden and competed at some of the nations top shows such as The Destiny USA Grand Prix, Devon, Warrenton, HITS Culpeper and HITS Saugerties, The Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament and The Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL.

Claire is a graduate of Sweet Briar College in VA, where she earned her B.A. in psychology. While at SBC, Claire rode on their very competitive ISHA team, and ‘A’ circuit hunter show team. She also taught in the riding program. She had the opportunity to study aboard in Scotland at St. Andrew’s University for a year and was able to compete internationally in dressage and jumpers.

Claire now focuses on developing quality horses, as well as bringing along students to compete both at the local and national levels. Claire’s students focus on meeting and exceeding personal goals.
