Earle Nugent, DVM

Earle was born and raised in Welland, residing on the family farm his entire life as the 4th generation.

Growing up on a dairy farm, it was a natural progression to vet school at the University of Guelph. As a member of the Ontario Veterinary College class of 1973, Earle went directly to work at the Dain City Animal Hospital, which some of you may remember. Two years later, he purchased the large animal portion where he has been working ever since.

He was also a Commission veterinarian overseeing thoroughbreds at Fort Erie Ractrack since the mid 80’s.

When he isn’t working, Earle enjoys maintaining his farm, growing hay, and waiting for the Leafs to win again. (Source)
