H.C. Summers

Our history dates back to the early 1900s, when L.E. Summers began this store as a means to serve the needs of the local agricultural community. H. C. Summers Feed & Supply has been a family owned and operated business for over 100 years and we pride ourselves on understanding our customers and their needs. We have a knowledgeable sales staff that works hard to make each visit from our customers pleasant and unique.

We are proud to serve Jefferson, MD. H. C. Summers Feed & Supply offers many services to our customers including nutritional consulting, Cub Cadet sales and service, and deliveries to MD, WV, and VA.

H.C. Summer’s loyalty to the community has continued to grow; we are proud to sponsor many local and civic community events throughout the years such as local horse shows, associations, hunt clubs, high school athletics and extracurricular clubs. We also sponsor local FFA and 4H clubs, as well as Jefferson Ruritan, Jefferson Fire Company, the Jefferson Joint Ecumenical Ministries and its participating Churches, the Jefferson Food Bank, and the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Foundation at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. We are members of the US Chamber of Commerce, N.F.I.B., a Purina Certified Expert Dealer, and a Cub Cadet Authorized Dealer. (Source)
