Jessica Ketron, DVM

Dr. Jessica Ketron grew up in the Bloomingdale community. She has always had pets, including cats, dogs, horses, goats and cows. She attended Transylvania University in Lexington, KY where she earned her Bachelor’s in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry and Spanish Language & Literature. Following that, she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.

After graduation she completed an ambulatory internship at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital in Ocala, FL. She then practiced for 2 years in northeast Georgia at Clarkesville Veterinary Hospital, a mixed animal practice. She returned to the Kingsport area in 2017 to work at a small animal practice and start Ketron Veterinary Services to take care of large animals.

In 2020, she decided to go out on her own and opened Ketron Veterinary Clinic in Blountville, TN. (Source)
