My career with horses began on our family farm, where I will be the fourth generation to preside. Morgans were introduced as the farm’s sole equine in the early 1980s, and our heard presently consists of an average of 40 head. Our main objective is to train and show individuals and other breeding facilities both in and beyond the U.S. We also manage a lesson program with a student base equal to the number of horses on the farm. Both equine and human pupils have been successful on the state, regional, and national levels in various disciplines, from Hunt and English, Pleasure, to Equitation and Harness. My judging career began just out of high school when I received my status as a record judge for Morgans through the United States Equestrian Federation. After five years, I was promoted to Registered status and have since judged Morgan competitions throughout the U.S. and Europe, including the Morgan World Championship twice and now, for the third time!
