Kari loves building confidence into her students. She loves working with kids &. beginner rider of all ages, as well as experienced intermediate riders wanting to sharpen their skills. She’s trained formally in both English and Western disciplines of riding, & will happily teach both disciplines.
Kari does private lessons, lessons for beginners, lessons for two, pony rides. parent-child lessons, birthday parties, teaches classes on Equine Bitting science, offers in-hand groundwork lessons, teaches the method of Clicker training & positive reinforcement training, and she also hosts semi-regular camps & mounted gaming clinics. She also occasionally takes in select horses for training & tuneups.
Kari is knowledgeable in western games, having trained under a barrel racer for one year. However, her true passion and skill lies in the English sport of dressage. Dressage is her primary focus & the equestrian sport she has devoted to, with her whole heart. She works hard to train and move up the levels in dressage with her beloved Lipizzaner, Chase, who is skilled at dressage, as well as here best friend & partner in crime
Certifications: Has trained under renowned dressage riders, a seasoned barrel racer, has continued her writing, education, and has been teaching horseback riding for six years. Is also certified in Equine Bits & Bitting Science by Neue Schule.
Education: Licensed Cosmetologist who graduated from Josef’s School of Hair Design, and has taken some college at MSUM.
