Kelsey Koenig, DVM

Dr. Kelsey Koenig was born and raised in Ellicott City Maryland, where she has been riding and working with horses since she was eight years old. She received her undergraduate degree from Bridgewater College in Virginia and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University. She then moved back up to Maryland to finish an internship at Manor Equine Hospital in Monkton Maryland. After completion of this internship, she decided to move back South and join Blue Skies Equine in 2019.

There are many aspects of veterinary medicine that Dr. Koenig enjoys and loves but she especially enjoys preventative medicine, lameness, and sports medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Koenig loves to hike, run trails, and horseback ride. Her other favorite hobbies include reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. (Source)
