Lila Knowlton-Grallert

Dr. Lila Knowlton-Grallert is originally from Massachusetts and attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst. It was there that she began working on farms and realized that she wanted to do that for the rest of her life. She has worked on many different types of farms, from a goat ranch in Mexico to a commercial dairy in Pennsylvania, and has found that her greatest joy is meeting and helping farmers and their animals. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania and moved to Northern New York shortly after graduation to work at North Star. Her veterinary interests include milk quality, calf care/management, and bovine and equine reproduction. She enjoys making music as a member of the Potsdam Community Band and spending time outdoors in the beautiful landscapes that the North Country has to offer. (Source)
