Dr. Mark Burroughs grew up in Williamsburg, and always dreamed of returning to his hometown to open an equine practice. After veterinary school, he returned home to Williamsburg with his wife. He spent three years working at the Mt Orab Veterinary Clinic before deciding that it was time to open Burroughs Veterinary Services. With the opening of BVS, he strives to provide top quality care to his equine and large animal patients. In his off time, he enjoys boating, wood working, working around the family farm, and trying to teach his wife to fish. (Source)

Mark is an extremely skilled equine vet. He’s easy to talk with and handles even terrified horses with patience and confidence. We have used him for over a decade and he has pulled us through scary times and routine vaccines. Highly recommend!
