Meadowsweet Ranch was established in 2000 as a family friendly equine facility. In fact, our boarders, students and their families are considered Meadowsweet Ranch family members.

We are a full-featured horse haven located in scenic Spring Grove, Illinois, adjacent to Chain O’ Lakes State Park. Whether you’re looking for boarding, lessons, camps, clinics, shows, or even pony parties, you are sure to find it here. Meadowsweet Ranch offers the best Northern Illinois has to offer.

Our goal is to not only provide top notch care to the horses that call MSR home, we also strive to provide an environment for people to enjoy their time with horses – whether it be your own, or one of our lesson horses. Our boarders, students, and staff are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, and would love to welcome you into our ranch family.
