Misty Meadows Equine Learning Center

Misty Meadows Equine Learning Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Martha’s Vineyard, strives to provide transformative experiences above and beyond riding. By partnering with equines, individuals are learning critical life skills such as trust, respect, boundaries, honesty, non-judgement and clear communication. Through authentic interactions with horses, people are able to practice heightened self-awareness. Becoming cognizant helps reveal our own patterns of behavior and provides us as individuals with the chance to see new possibilities for ourselves. When we connect with horses our confidence increases, our senses become heightened and our ability to empathize is expanded; all contributing to creating a more holistic sense of self. (Source)
