After serving 8 years in the US Marine Corps, Dr. Mitch graduated from Oklahoma State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. He then completed an internship at Peterson & Smith Equine Hospital in Ocala, FL followed by serving as an associate at Larry Caudill & Associates in Lexington, Kentucky for several years. There he gained valuable insight into lameness issues in thoroughbred racehorses. (Source)
