Rachel Morgan Reedy, DVM

Growing up in a small town in Southern Idaho, Dr. Rachel Reedy dreamed of a life in animal medicine. After obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree from Washington State University, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University of School of Veterinary Medicine. In 2012, Dr. Reedy moved to the Coachella Valley, where she has made an impact on animal welfare throughout the valley.

After obtaining her DVM, Dr. Reedy completed a rigorous Equine surgical and medicine internship at Sheridan Equine in Sheridan, Wyoming. Once her internship was completed, she went into mixed animal practice working on small animals and horses.

Dr. Reedy continues to work on horses, dogs, and cats, enjoying a practice where she can work with both large and small animals. Dr. Reedy offers a well-rounded background in most aspects of veterinary medicine and has a strong interest and advanced skillset in soft tissue surgery.

Rachel shares her small farm – full of horses, dogs and cats, with her husband, Keith, They are both Boston terries fanatics, and you will often find Dr. Reedy’s beloved “Spud” at work with her. In her spare time, you’ll find Dr. Reedy riding her horse and competing in reined Cow Horse competitions. When she’s not on her horse (or treating one!), she’ll be visiting her family and friends or enjoying the great outdoors. (Source)
