Dr. Robert Treat, Jr. joined the practice in 1992 realizing 60 years of a family tradition devoted to animal care. Dr. Treat, Jr. received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He then spent a year in Germany on Fulbright Scholarship before continuing on to received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 1992.
In his spare time Dr. Treat, Jr. enjoys playing tennis, fishing, camping, hiking, as well as spending time with his wife, Shelley, and their five children, three dogs, and three cats. (Source)
