Sarah Carter, DVM

Dr. Carter is originally from Pickerington, Ohio and received a BS degree in zoology in 2008 and her DVM in 2012, both from Michigan State University. Dr. Carter has worked in mixed small and large animal practices but found that she gravitated towards the large animals. She enjoys working with both horses and food animals and is particularly interested in preventive medicine and equine lameness. Dr. Carter is licensed to practice in West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland; she is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Equine Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her St. Bernard and two cats, drawing, and woodworking. (Source)
