An Arizona native, Shawna attended U of A, completed her veterinary degree at Midwestern University, and did a medical/surgical internship at Arizona Equine in Gilbert. She has worked on elephants in Thailand, and volunteered at the Belize zoo. Her interests include reproduction, neonatology, ambulatory medicine, and dentistry. She also loves to go camping, hiking, travel, and spend time with her dog and family. (Source)
