About Trent D. Stites, DVM
Dr. Stites graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1986. He attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, graduating in 1994 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
He founded a mixed animal hospital in 1994 and sold it in 2000 to specialize in equine medicine and surgery. He worked with Dr. Gary White at Sallisaw Equine Clinic until 2007, when Dr. Stites founded McKey Equine Hospital. Dr. Stites became AVCA certified in equine chiropractic in 2011, to enhance his ability to diagnose and treat lameness in performance horses.
Dr. Stites lives with his family Marcy, Ty and Taite on 80 acres in Vian, OK, where he runs a stocker cattle operation. (Source)
