Windridge Camp at Teela Wooket

Classical English horseback riding has been taught at Teela-Wooket since 1913 and today’s campers enjoy a range of mounted activities such as show jumping, dressage, eventing, hunter trials, cross-country, pony club games, and trail riding in the beautiful mountains of Vermont. The emphasis for campers is on fun and skill development in the riding program, and the horses they ride are well chosen to fit their personal needs and to keep them safe.

In addition, our campers love to play a part in the daily care of their horses, and the horse barn is located right on our campus. Campers learn everything from stable management to animal behavior and first aid to feeding.

We have three outdoor training rings, an indoor arena, and many cross-country trails. We appreciate that children are individuals, so our staff is trained to develop a progress plan with each camper designed to boost their confidence and improve their riding skills. (Source)
